The
Miami-Dade County/Africa Sister Schools project initiated
by Dr. Robert Ingram, Miami-Dade County School Board Member,
will be highlighted during the 5th Annual Africando U.S.-Africa
Trade & Investment Symposium and Arts & Culture
Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 8-12, at the Hotel
Inter-Continental, 100 Chopin Plaza, Miami.
The
festival part of the event will be held from 12-8 p.m.,
on May 11-12 at Bayfront Park.
The
Sister Schools project is designed m develop cultural
appreciation among students through an Afro-centric curriculum
and a student exchange program.
