MIAMI-
Miami- Dade County School Board member Dr. Robert B. Ingram
(District 1) served as a speaker at a Dedication Ceremony
for a home built with support from William H. Turner Technical
Arts High School students.
Students from William H. Turner Technical
Arts High School helped Lennar Homes' carpenters, plumbers,
and electricians build a new home.
The house at 20231 N.W. 32 Avenue is the
second annual Scholarship Home to be built by Lennar and
students in the high school's Academy of Residential Construction.
Its sale price will be donated by Lennar, Florida's largest
homebuilder, to the Academy's scholarship fund.
Academy students were involved in every
phase of building the home, according to Lou D'Amato,
Lennar Homes' Area Manager. "The entire Lennar team
is committed to providing ARC students with a real, hands-on
learning experience," he said.
