- DR. ROBERT B. INGRAM ADDRESSES SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
AND TRAINING PARTICIPANTS
Dr.
Robert B. Ingram, Board Member for District 1, delivered
the keynote address to close Coral Gables Senior High
School's Summer Youth Employment and Training Program.
The programs main focus was to teach skills that will
enable students to acquire and maintain employment. In
his closing remarks, Dr. Ingram challenged the young leaders
to Remember - that they were standing on the shoulders
of those who had gone on before them, Respect - others
as they would like to be respected, and Repay - symbolic
of their obligation to future generations.
The program was held at the Rusty
Pelican on Key Biscayne, Friday August 11, 2000.
